  2. I remember thinking that if it weren't for the signs posted...I wouldn't have known what the building was...I'm clueless sometimes!

  3. I would love to see this. I didn't realize they charged to go up. One of the seven wonders of the world. I love the idea of being up so high to see the view from there. I would definitely be visiting if I every visit New York. Rita Spratlen rj_angel_house@yahoo.com

  6. We went in Feb. and did the whole enchilada. The motion theater was fun - kind of amazing to know that's inside of the the Empire State Building!!

The elevator ride in itself is wild - you keep going and going and going - It only takes a few seconds but feels like so much longer.

Once at the top you are greeted with a breathtaking view. Take some quarters so you can use the binoculars.

I will warn you, in Feb. it was COLD, like FRRREEEZZZING COLD and WINDY at the top. Made for a fun and memorable time for my husband and I. We look forward to taking our kids up when they're older.

Oh, I also recommend going up later in the evening - then you can hang around at the top and wait for the sun to go down and the city lights to come up. Ahhh...can't wait to do it again - maybe when it's a bit warmer next time LOL
