During my first visit to NYC, I had to see the Statue of Liberty. We specifically drove to catch a glimpse of her. It was just really awe-inspiring to see something so iconic. It's almost unreal. Email: yona(at)pricelesswriters.com
ReplyDeleteI have never seen the Statue of Liberty...I would love to see her up close!!
ReplyDeleteI love this picture because it stands for so much. I would love to go on tour someday. I love that she is there for our country and to show the meaning of what our country stands for. It is amazing how she has held up all these years. Someday I will have to see her in person. I wish people still had this feeling she promotes in their heart. Rita Spratlen rj_angel_house@yahoo.com

I drove through rush hour to see the Statue of Liberty with a friend of mine who I was travelling across the East coast with. We were out of fun cash by then and couldn't afford the ferry to Ellis Island. So we stopped at a park across the way and saw this sight, an island of hope and freedom. It was ironic to us that is cost so much to see her up close, but we appreciated the view and symbolism none-the-less.
ReplyDeleteI've always seen America's supreme landmark in various movies, but haven't had the chance to visit it for myself. I like its symbolism of freedom and democracy.
ReplyDeleteI think this has to be one of the most well known landmarks!!! I have never seen it but I plan to soon....
ReplyDeleteI would love to see this and it means to me freedom!
ReplyDeleteI want to take pictures in front of the Statue of Liberty and then hang it up in the wall, as proof that I have been to NY.
