  1. The Chinese Scholars Garden on the grounds of Snug Harbor is one of New York City's most overlooked gems. It's not crowded by New York City standards, and absolutely beautiful.

  2. I believe this was meant as a sanctuary (marine hospital) for retired seamen by the founder Captain Robert Richard Randall...beautiful park!!
